The advantages of Ozone (Active Oxygen)

O3 is an anti-microbial agent that exhibits high reactivity, penetrability and spontaneous decomposition in pure oxygen. These characteristics make it an antibacterial and virucidal disinfectant ideal for civil environments. It has the power to inactivate bacteria, molds, mildew, parasites and viruses.
It is composed of 3 oxygen atoms; this particular chemical structure explains the reactivity of the molecule and its behavior at the biological level.
It is characterized by a pungent smell, the same that sometimes accompanies thunderstorms and snowy expanses when illuminated by the sun, due precisely to the active oxygen produced by lightning discharges or the reaction caused by the sun that irradiates the snow. It is a naturally occurring molecule that forms under these particular conditions and breaks down within a few tens of minutes
Active oxygen is therefore an extremely reactive molecule and reacts very selectively with the macromolecular components of bacterial cells, fungi, protozoa and viruses.
How to sanitize indoor environments
From these chemical principles comes a line of products capable of sanitizing indoor environments from small to large structures.
Use of the Ozone Generator for the sanitization of environments:
Set a delivery time suitable for the cubic meters to be treated and the device being used, taking as a parameter for sanitization,
The rule that is generally used is 1 gram / hour of Ozone per 40 cubic meters to be sanitized,
therefore, for example with a 1 gram / hour generator, we will start 1 cycle of 30 minutes to sanitize 20 cubic meters. if instead the device were able to generate 0.5g / hour it would have to work 1hr to sanitize the same 20sqm environment
At the end of the ozone supply cycle, the generator will stop by itself.
Leave the saturated ozone in the environment for at least 30 minutes (see table with contact times).
At the end of the procedure we will be able to air.
If it is not possible to ventilate, we will have to wait a couple of hours before being able to re-enter the room, letting the ozone convert into oxygen (for the ECOZON3 series machines this point will start the catalyzing cycle that allows the ozone to be converted in oxygen in a shorter time).
